Rubi Rose Benton is a Kentucky native who was born September 2, 1997. She was raised by Nardos Gebrelul, her mother (an Eritrean immigrant dentist, educated in Ethiopia), and John Benton her father (a lawyer who was of Japanese as well as African American descent). Rose's music career began in September of 2018 when she released an original remix of "On Top" which was produced by Playboi. In the year 2019, she made traction in 2019 with her hit single "Big Mouth". Rose was featured in Cardi B’s music video for her single "WAP", on August 7, 2020. A&R Chris Turner signed her to the LA Reid record label Hitco Entertainment in 2019. Rubi is famous for her high-profile relationships.
