Nargis Fakhri is an United States citizen born in Queens on 20 October 1979. She is the child of Mohammed Fakhri & Marie Fakhri. She is the younger sibling of Aliya Fakhri. Her father, Mohammed Fakhri is a Pakistani as is her mother Marie Fakhri is a Czech. She was just 7 years old when her parents split up and tragically her parents separated and she lost both of them a short time later. Marie Fakhri, her mother is a retired police officer. Nargis considers herself as an Global Citizen because of her mixed ethnicity between Pakistani and Czechs as well as her American nation of origin. Fakhri began her modeling career as a model at the age of 16. She lived with her boyfriend living in Copenhagen when she got an email stating that Imtiaz Ali was looking to meet her in Prague to audition for an Indian film. Nargis Fakhri began dating actor Uday Chopra in 2014. The couple split up in 2017. In May 2018 the actress announced her love affair with american filmmaker and editor Matt Alonzo through her Instagram handle. In the spring of 2019, the couple ended their relationship. They are currently being in a relationship with American chef Justin Santos. Nargis is ranked 72nd in Forbes India's 2014 list Indian stars.
