Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. At the beginning of her career, Anna appeared on several television commercials. In the month of November, 1999 Anna moved to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually making the move into Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Anna came across Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop held in Los Angeles, and they became engaged in the year 2009. They married at a civil wedding ceremony in December and they renewed their vows at a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton on April 11, 2011 after Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couples list. The couple was also recognized by E! as the top television couple of 2013.
