Emily Bett Rickards, born on the 24th of July, 1991 in Canada is a Canadian actor best known for playing Felicity Smoak in The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards was raised and born in British Columbia. In her early years, she began her professional career with musical theater, and then dancing. Then, she wanted to introduce herself to professional acting. When she graduated early from high school, she attended Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials program. When she completed the program, she participated in an open-call audition, which led to a booking agent. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. Initially signed as a single-episode guest star, her chemistry with the show's star Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her funny quips earned her first signing to be a regular co-star for all of the remaining episodes of the season.
